Car: 92 Z-28 Engine: 5.7 cam, aluminum heads, tpi upgrad Transmission: 700r4 Axle/Gears: 3:42 | quick review on some parts i bought must say for TPIS the big mouth baseplate is worth the money. the baseplate has plenty more metal to cover the ports in my new heads where the stock didnt. it has the edelbrock 3860 cast # on it and is a quality job as far as casting and all the holes. i didnt feel any loss or gain on the bottom end torque but as far as midrange power it really helped out alot. also has plenty of metal for more porting should you desire (i didnt).
for SKIP WHITE PERFORMANCE i got a great deal on the PROCOMP aluminum heads which bolted right up. very happy even though i did have to drill 1 accessory bracket hole in the right spot.
so there it is for my "bolt ons", they were easy to do and in my opinion worth the money spent ($600 heads and $400 baseplate). will keep everyone posted further on durability as these parts are in my daily driver. | | | |
