Umm, I'm pretty skeptical, but I've seen some so called Leak Sealers in a couple stores, the little cans that recharge you're refridgerant.
Anybody ever tried it, and if they did... Did it really work?
Juuuuuust wondering, cause this summer's gonna be a hot one. Wheeew.
It's already almost TOOOOO hot.
Especially with no air conditioning.
Oh, and I wasn't really... sure. Where to post this. Sorry if it's wrong, couldn't find somewhere for something this random. lol.

as far as i know all the leak sealers contaminate your system. the shop i work at does ac and when we identify it usually comes up contaminated and we ask the ppl and they say they put in sealer. find the leak and fix it.

Yeah, they show up as a contamination because they are something other than refrigerant and oil and thats all the machine is told to look for. It WOULD be contaminated if you ever recovered it and tried to use it in another vehicle because of this.
I agree with UnderCover, just find the leak and fix it, I know its not fun finding leaks, and can be expensive to fix, but you'll be happier with it in the long run.
The leak is coming from the compressor, I've known that since I bought the car, lol. We took it to a shop for them to do the plumbing. (Something about it won't pass emissions with the A/C running unless they did it) Then they charged it and put a dye in it that'll show up under black lights.
It's coming from the compressor and it's not worth it to me to replace it.
So I'll just be happy with my power windows. Rolled down.
