What intake do you think is best.

I have a 82 firebird and i want to gain more power but im not going crazy. I have put on headers/high flow cat. Gm 416 ported heads and i need to choose a good intake to put on. Every thing else is stock. I want this car to be street legal so im guessing i will need EGR. I was thinking of buying the 3701 Edelbrock intake but if anyone has any suggestion of a better intake which will be street legal it would help me out alot.

Any suggestions will be very well appreciated im not good with cars at all im trying to learn but itll take time to get there.

I was able to put those parts on btw due to my father used to race and work on his 68 camaro but he has long lost most of his knowledge with the emissions and crap treehuggers put in place.

Re: What intake do you think is best.

Your choices are pretty limited since you are retaining the emissions equipment, but your best choice would be either the Edelbrock #3701 you mentioned, or Summit's stage 1 manifold http://summitracing.com/parts/SUM-226017/
