1986 camaro driveshaft help?

HI everyone. i have a 1986 camaro that im put together from just the shell. I have a 406 motor with a th400 transmission and a moser 9in rear. I stuffed it all under the car and now i need a drive shaft. i think im at 500hp or about and i was wondering if anyone had a set-up like mine. I need to know what the length is of the shaft or if somebody knows a nother shaft that will fit from another car. I know i will change the u joints of course. If not what about aftermarket. cheap but good quality. I will like to have at least 3in diameter. any one can help?
O yeah i had a th350 in there which is shorter so my old shaft will not work. Is the v8s with 700R4s drive shafts what i need and will it hold 500hp.
