Should i purchase MagnaFlow 93418???

Well i just got finished attaching my headers to my heads and i had to take off my stock 30 year old catalytic converter and am wondering if replacing it with the Magnaflow 93418 would help my cars performance.

When i took my stock cat off it all kinds of pellets came out and i really dont know what sign says a catalytic converter is bad. If u can help me out and tell me if purchasing a new catalytic converter would help my cars performance it would be greatly appreciated.

Well just about any modern cat would flow better than your old pellet style piece o junk but I'm not sure the one you listed would be your best choice, it only has a 2.25 inch inlet and outlet. What headers and y-pipe are you running?
