what would be the best injectors for a basicaly stock 305 tpi?? im also thinkin about gettin a 52mm throtle body. my main goal is to add a little hp on a budget. ive done basic tune up stuff ( plugs wires timing chain distributor cap. ect.) i also just bought a flowmater cat back system and gutted the air box. but thats basicaly it. so if any one has some advice or just wanna add thier 2 cents lemmme hear it. thanks!
I dont see why your stock 19lb injectors wont meet your power needs. Buy an AFPR and increase the pressure to get more fuel. If your really feeling froggy you can clean and rebuild them. But the fact of the matter is if you buy bigger injectors, they will spray too much fuel. Forcing you to lower pressure, which hurts your fuel atomization and with that your power.
As for the Throttle body, I hate to jump on the bandwagon but I would try and steer you away from purchasing a new one. Unless your building a 383 or bigger that will be moving a ton of air you will not see a power gain from the bigger TB. Its my opinion that the "Bigger" Throttle bodys only make more power because they are much smoother than the factory TB. Again, if your feeling froggy you could get an airfoil and blend it into the factory casting using some kind of epoxy. That would probably give you the HP gain that a $300 TB would for like $40.
Now if you are looking to spend that $300 on your car it seems to be the general opinion that headers are your best choice. And maybe a good Cat. As for the cat back you have now I picked up a .1 in the quarter with the same one, so kudos to you.
Hope that helps! Good luck Man.

well i get good responce but i just thought if i could get more air and more fuel ( w/ and bigger throttle body and like 21lb injectors) but i guess i really wouldnt see a difference from what your saying. and a stronger injector might even rob me of some power. so thanks for the advice. i almost spent 300 bucks and got nothing..... but if that wont work u have any ideas? i got about 300 bucks.
My suggestion is do not just jump into the "I need HP" mentality. I did that with my 305 and it will ultimately get you nowhere. Now that is not to say the 305 cannot move, but you will need to sink significant dollars into it. Swaps are becoming cheaper and cheaper with the availability of the 5.3, 5.7, 6.0 setups. As long as the motor is in really good shape (not beaten up) I would say go for some suspension parts. LCAs, Subframe connectors, Springs, PHB, struts, shocks, strut tower brace. This will allow you to actually hook the car.
If you really want power glock is right get some headers to go with the exhaust.
Something else you can do is spend the money on a good dremel and a lot of bits and port your plenum and clean up your runners. This will also add air.
You will not need injectors guaranteed. Not with a nearly stock 305.
