o.k. , i have some more troubleshooting to do . but , i fear i am looking at the dreaded fuel pump change . since i only want to do it once what is the best recommended replacement & source ? the car is a 91R/S 305 TBI , t-5 , headers & minor mods. . cost , ( within reason ) is not a factor .

well it seems no one has an opinion . i have checked locally and found bosch & airtex . bosch quality i understand is not that great anymore . anyone know about airtex ? i have found their #'s mixed in with A.C.delco & GM . i am leaning towards airtex , any thought's on this ?
WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT BUY AN AIRTEX FUEL PUMP. if you only want to do this once. i put an airtex pump in my camaro and a month latter i was back in there replacing it. I would buy the bosche one or an aftermarket one. but NOT the airtex one.
