Re: Borla Exhaust system, 2 questions ?

You know that is one of the things that has been really tick'n me off. If i was to bypass my muffler of just do without one, i would not pass inspection. but if i paid nearly 800 dollars for a pointless exhaust it would be ok. It just looks pretty.

It is designed so you can run a psudo open exhaust (thereby making the car louder). You will notice the kit comes with triangular plates that you insert.

You can block off the exhaust (and run all the gasses thru the muffler) or decide how much open exhaust you want to run using the different size holes in the plates (and so have you car a little or a lot loud).

It is a nice system. Gives you the ability to "tune" your exhaust (with the plates). I'll be buying one to replace my old Flowmaster.

Hope this helps.

Sinister has a video clip (thread below) where he starts his car up. He has the borla system. Sounds REAL nice.

I love mine. My car is super quiet at the light but you'll know when I take off.
