swap out my stock hurst offset shifter for a tri-ax the other day, just got to drive the car again today. Its a nice shifter, a bit smoother than the hurst one. They stick is much lower too which is nice, makes the shifts quicker.
Only issue in fitment is in stock form, the tri-ax is too short. The know sits down inside the console and in 2-4-r hits the console. Not a lot, but enough that i dont like it. I had to make an extension for the handle, moving it up another inch and its good now.
Its a nice piece, i would recommend it to anybody looking to ditch the hurst shifter on their tko. the offset of the tri-ax handle is almost perfect to center the knob in the console opening. Like I said though, your going to have to lengthen the stick.
The shifter is a little pricey, about 200bux. I found a new, installed but not used one on ebay, paid 91bux
