New (reproduction) dash pad

Has any used, seen, or heard of the fit of any new (reproduction) dash pads?

Re: New (reproduction) dash pad

They have cloth covers that look really nice, too. But $400 for a dash pad?

Re: New (reproduction) dash pad

If you have already replaced or refurbished everything else on the inside and still have a cracked dash pad making the inside look tired then $400 isn't that big of a deal and the price will eventually come down just like lcd tv's did when they first come out, now they are way cheaper I remember when they were a big thing going to Rex electronics and seeing a Pioneer LCD tv that they wanted $10k for and it was a 52" and I thought they were on something too. The manufacturer has to try and recoup the project design cost and thinks there price is way better than it actually is.

Re: New (reproduction) dash pad

Back to my original question...has anyone seen or used one to review its fit and function.

I wish I had asked if anyone thought it was too expensive...but I didn't.

Claiming an item is too expensive either means you don't have enough money, you don't want the item enough, or that there are cheaper alternatives. I do have enough money, I want the item very bad as the rest of my car is redone, and there are NO other new alternatives.
