1aAuto Ttop headliner

I ordered a Ttop headliner the other day, Non molded (no fabric) My plan was to just use adhesion promoter and paint the headliner black. Yes, i realize many people frown upon this because its not stock, but it's what i wanted to do.
I took delivery of the item today...it layed out fine, but i was quite upset when I saw it had a couple major flaws in the plastic.

I called 1aAuto about the flaw and they said to email them pictures of the headliner, I did so and soon heard back.
they told me the mold is apparently flawed, and i would be unable to get a refreshed mold from the manufacturer for several months, and would need to send the current headliner back. The reasoning for not fixing the current mold of the headliner was because "99% of the buyers apply fabric to the headliner"

I find it rather unfortunate that a product would continue to be sold when it's flawed in such a manor. 1aAuto was very apologetic and understanding about my disatisfaction.

I guess I'll just apply fabric and suck it up...Heres pics of the flawed plastic:

Re: 1aAuto Ttop headliner

Sorry to hear about the issue with your order. This is the first I've heard of the issue, but glad one of the other customer service guys was able to take care of things for you. We haven't been doing the non-covered headliners for a while, so there hasn't been too much feedback on this. However, I will look into things however I can and see what's going on.
