I purchased the trunk seal, part # 2424 from a local restoration shop. Upon installation I found it was too short. About 1.5" too short. I called Soff Seal and spoke with them. The guy said that if the seal was less than 17 feet long, it is considered defective and to return it to the shop. Well, stock is about 15' 8" (I measured the old one). Soff Seal needed to see pictures. So I e-mailed them to the shop, who forwarded them to Soff Seal. It's been since yesterday afternoon and I am waiting to hear something. I spoke with the shop last evening and they said they have another seal coming in and I can have that one. But he couldn't tell me when it would be here or even if it's the right length. All this drama for a trunk seal. Geez. Oh, I bought their door seals, too, but I told the shop I am going to return them since Soff Seal can't make a trunk seal correctly or communicate with the shop.

Got the replacement seal today from the company. Perfect fit.
