How accurate is a Gtech?

Just wondering if any f you have ever used a Gtech, and how it compares to real dragstrip runs. Ive heard that the mph is a little high, but how accurate are the E/T numbers? Also, how much is one? Ive seen a couple on ebay going from $75 - $110. Is it worth buying? Thanks.

- 100% bone stock... 14.54 at 94.44mph

97' Saturn SC2 (1.9L 4cyl DOHC/5speed)
- also 100% bone stock, but much slower than the Regal!

98' Chevrolet Camaro Z28 (LS1/4L60E/3.23s)
- hard to believe, but its actually 100% bone stock also!

Saw an article in one of the car mags recently that tested the g-tech at a dragstrip. The ET was well within the claimed accuracy. The MPH was a bit off the dragstrip reading because the g-tech captures the MPH at the very end of a 1/4 mile and dragstrips do an average of the last few feet of the 1/4 mile.

I tested it at the track to satisfy my own curiousity and the ET is pretty close, the mph is usually 3 to 5 mph faster, however.

I personally liked having it at first, but I rarely use it now...I just enjoy going to the track more, and besides I'm still in the middle of my engine swap.
