Well, summit has their own headers for our cars - They are like $75 - Has anyone used these? Are they even worth it, or will they burn through or something terrible like that? Do they come with a y-pipe? Thanks!

i have a set of summit headers have not installed them yet. are they anyone with them if so guys voice your opinions on them
I have them on my car. Make sure you paint them cause the paint on them is just primer. I have to take mine off and paint them now . Any ways I think they are made to bolt to the original y pipe but I'm don't know because i cut all of the exhaust out before I installed them.
What is the size of the primaries, and the collectors? Are they worth the price in regards to flow and performance? camarodude91 any performance difference???
thanks!
1.5 primary 2.5 collectors. Probably fine for a mild small block(most exhausts neck down to 2.5 anyway. Much better than stock. The flowtech y-pipe is not very good though, and really isn't a y-pipe. The passenger collector just hooks right into the 2.5 pipe from the driver--without an increase in size--2 2.5's into one 2.5 pipe. Custom y-pipe would be much better...

Sorry I'm not sure if there was a performance gain. I took my motor out of a 78 Camaro with a 350 trans, no headers and a belt driven fan. When I put it in the 91 i lost the fan, the got abetter first gear in the 700, a better gear 3.23 compared t0 2.73, and lost some wieght, so I don't know if there is a performance gain since all the other things made differences. It soounds better than it did and i didn't buy a performance exhuast for it.
