Well, one thing's for sure. No-one here seems to have a clue what you are asking. What headlight conversion? Who is the company you are referring to? Give us some usefull info, and we might be able to help you.

BTW: a quick internet search turned-up two companies with the name "Performance Lighting" -

"Performance Lighting, Inc." - lighting for stage, television and movies.

"Performance Lighting Group" - architectural and landscape lighting.

Wanna beef-up the 411?

Hopefully when you talk about "High-Intensity Discharge"(HID) lighting, you are talking about more than a bulb swap. A lot of less than scrupulous marketeers advertise their filament-style bulbs as HID. Not only is this not HID-lighting, it delivers nowhere the light output of a true HID system. In fact, in many cases it uses an improperly focussed filament to give the appearance of higher light output while delivering inferior coverage and localized hotspots.

I did some research a while back on HID-conversions for a thirdgen Camaro. The average price for such a conversion - $800 to $900 - quickly eliminated this mod from serious consideration.

no i have real HID head lights with ballasts and ignitors.the kit i got cost around 400 dollars and you can get them for virtully all cars.i am even in the process of getting conversions and HIDs for my 94 Z28 also.also thekits are not universal you tell them the lights you have(9006,H-4,H-3....)and you get replacement bulbs that fit right in the housing.(trying to figure out how to get the pics on here(file not attaching )
