Cheap 180 Degree Fan Switch

What is the cheapest fan switch that I can get for the 1991 305 engine? Where can I buy it online?

Thanks,
Brian

It appears that site offers the switch for $44 plus S/H.
Any cheaper places?

I got one from summit but it didnt fit my world products heads like they promised. I just kept the old one in and grounded the wire, this way the fan runs all the time. Didnt cost anything and worked out great. Something to consider if you want to try running them all the time insted of spending $40 for a 180.

Derale

My recommendation...I just "found" one through Jegs (actually found the part number in a tech article). It's made by Derale, has an adjustable turn on temp and an adjustable turn off temp for $39. You can wire it in to augment the factory system (i.e. if this one ever goes out, you'll still have the factory switches). I think they're gonna have to order it, but you can call their customer service at 1-800-345-4545 and ask them about it. It wasn't in the catalog, so I just told them it was made by Derale and Derale's part number, which is 16759. Good luck.

Send a message via AIM to 88 WS6 TransAm GTA
Go to your local parts store... If you can find the correct #, they sell them, and theyre only a couple of bucks. The reason noone gets em, is that not many people know about em!
