Dart Iron Eagles

I'm putting a set of "iron's" on my 92 TA motor. Is removing the guide plates all that is required to be done. Or is there something else I need to address.

I recommend guide plates, but you must use hardened or chrome moly pushrods. If you don't the guide plates will chew though the pushrods in a heartbeat. DON'T USE STOCK PUSHRODS!!! A buddy of mine built a new motor with guide plates and with pushrods which he thought were hardened (they were packaged wrong) and about 30 mile down the road it started popping and backfireing through the intake. We pulled it apart and found 7 destroyed pushrods and 4 mauled rockers. Save yourself the headache!

Ok. If I was to keep the guide plates, and do away with the self-aligning RA's. What length pushrod would I need? The stock roller ones' are 7.195" and the regulars' are 7.794".
