Edelbrock Torker II

Anyone Have experience with this manifold?

It seems to be a good fit with my current parts list for my 400 buildup (tho its allways changing). The 2500 - 6500 Power Range is a perfect fit for the cam I plan on using, and Desktop Dyno says a "normal" Single Plane intake makes more HP from 3000 - up, and more mid - upper range torque vs. a Dual Plane. Could I expect a bit more bottom end out of the Torker II?

hey bro.....my 355 i have, which is not in the car yet, is set up with a torker II intake. We drove the guys car i bought it from with the engine in it, before i bought it. Initial take off was hella especially with the tranny i bought from him too. Bottom end torque prolly wasnt as good as it would be with a dual plane, but the mid and upper range sure made up for it.....as i couldnt pull foward from my seat all the way to almost 7 grand. Ill give ya my opinion, its a good buy....im keeping mine

It prolly wouldn't be much of a SOTP fel but the Edelbrock RPM will make more power throughout the whole power band. A car mag a few months ago and the RPM beat all the manifolds in peak and average power.
