Hands down the Comp T/A. I just ordered (and will have installed tonight) my second set of them after the first one lasted 38k miles of drag-racing, road-racing, some auto-x, and tons of burnouts. Granted, they don't have much traction now, but they're 4 years old and nearly bald. I was still hooking up pretty good at the dragstrip last fall though...

I have the ZR's. I just had my new tires installed last night and they look and feel great. The guys at NTB were very friendly, even let me (and other customers) hang out in the shop and watch them work. They did a free alignment for me too. With my home-alignment set for hard street driving and road-racing, I have -0.9 and -1.2 camber, 4.6 caster on each side, and 0.25 and -0.16 toe (need to adjust that some). Just about perfect except for the toe.

Crap vs. crap in my opinion. For a little bit more you can get a lot better tires. See the hot post on Bridgestones.

You've obviously never owned these tires. They worked great for the first 30k miles through everything I put them through. After that, they were like any other 30k+ mile high-performance tire. Also, those Bridgestones don't come in a 255/50 size. However, the RE71's were tempting, but NTB wanted a lot more for those (like $45/tire) than the BFG's...
