1AA Automotive

Anyone ever hear of this place? The website is www.1aauto.com. I saw a hatch weather strip on there for $33.00 so I figured I would check this place out before I bought anything from there.

Thanks.

They sell a ton of stuff on ebay. I purchased my carpet and power window motors from them and I would recommend them for any part you need. Check ebay for that hatch seal. Some times you can save money because the auction prices are less than there normal prices.

I will have to vouch for 1AAutomotives excellent customer service. These guys are just great, I purchased a full carpet set on ebay from them and I gave them a call the next day, they were already ready for me, just needed the color etc.. I asked them not to cut the tranny tunnel because I will be throwing in a t-56 the guy said no problem, let me mark that down.

I also asked the gentleman if the carpet didn't fit, will they send me a new one that will? He said as long as I didn't tear it up, they will send out someone to pick it up and send me a new one immediatley. The carpet came in and is going in this weekend, all I can say is 1AAutomotive is a great company and i'll definatley recommend them to anyone.

I just installed a full carpet set that I bought from them. Their customer service is EXCELLENT, but I must say that the carpet is fair at best. They have good prices, but you get what you pay for. The carpet is thin. It does have the jute on it, but not the rubber backing that the factory carpet has. To avoid excessive interior noise I installed the replacement carpet over the original carpet.

That rubber back carpet is bad for your car though, it combined with the jute padding keeps moisture trapped under it for ever. Removing the rubber backing form the carpet lets it breath and dry out.

Pull up the carpet once and see what I mean. Most of our cars rust from the inside out cause of that dam rubber back carpet.

My car looked factory under the car, pulled up the carpet and I had a weeks worth of work to do. Lots of spot will rust and never make it to the out side, cause of how the frame / unibody boxes in places. Pull that old stock carpet up and you will find rust and a few hole.

I'll bet money on that.

Good to hear they get good marks. I am getting ready to buy my carpet from them. They say the carpet is from ACC. I have had ACC carpet before and it felt better than the factory.

I've bought a power window motor from them and also a new cruise control/turn signal switch for my Iroc. I was very pleased with both their service and fast shipping, although the power window motor is LOUD...that's the only thing I'm not happy with.
