| does anybody have any info on this group? they list a 383 long block for tpi that make 405hp. sounds good, they also list use of ARP hardware and other good parts. does anybody have this engine or bought an engine from them. I have heard horror stories about buying crate engines for race shops that have very loose tolerances when built and constantly break down or burn oil. this engine sounds like one built by Golen engines but I have heard exactly those problems about them. if they are bad, what other good crate motors are out there. I don't want an engine with vortec heads, but I would like to be in the low 400hp range.any light on thi subject would be nice. | | | |
