I recently ordered some items I needed for my Camaro (grille, air dam, Autometer tach ) from Hawks Third Gen Parts. I placed an order online on a Tuesday and that next Monday they called me and asked if I wanted it shipped or if I wanted to pick it up (I live 30 minutes away from them, but had never been there). I wasn't sure if I would be able to pick the items up on the day that I ordered online but I had some free time that day so I went and picked up the parts. They were very nice, and the parts are great and fit perfect. I also think that it was very nice of them to actually call me and ask if I wanted it shipped or not. I am definetely going to do business with them again.

I dealt with Hawk's a couple of weeks ago for a used fender. Customer service was great, shipping time was great, fender quality, well let's just say it could have been worse. Maybe I was just expecting too much for a used body part but the fender was badly rusted on the lower 4 inches or so. After grinding on it with a wire wheel(this was no light surface rust) the rust corrosion has left lots of pitting, but due to the fact that the area is going to be covered by the ground effect, I can overlook this. Also the fender looks like it was dropped on the corner near the windshield, seeing as the corner is sort of MISSING and all..... its only about a half an inch so I "made" a new corner out of bondo, but of course this mishap could have been the shipping company's fault. To sum it up, the company was good to deal with, but I was expecting a straight, rust free fender, so if your ordering used body parts be forewarned that they could use a bit of work.
I ordered a gear nut for my hatch motor thursday, today when i got home from school it was sitting on my porch. Installed it in about 15 minutes and it worked perfectly. Finally, my hatch works and also stopped bouncing all over the road once again!
Thumbs up on Bruce and Hawks. If I need anything else I'll be looking there first.
