Fbodymotorsports, here's my last experience with them

Ok so I go on their site and it states

New Camaro Park Lamps Price: $49.99

I placed an order for them 05/24/2005. I called them up just now and they said I purchased them on 05/31/2005. Now just to let yous know, I'm on a deadline for a car show this sat and sun. So she checked on them and said "oh, Gallagher" "1 right parking lamp" I said wtf. I got an email about 3 days ago saying they were shipped and now this lady just told me It didnt even go out yet!. So I started bitchen about the 1 light and Alls I hear is this guy screaming in the backround "THAT 50$ IS ONLY FOR ONE"!!!!. Just whatever. It's june 7th and the product still hasn't come. 50$ for each parking lamp is a bunch of bs.

OK after 8 minutes of being on hold, the order is cancelled.

It went like this.

Got an email saying it was shipped, then on the phone they said it wasnt , then i just called them back and they say it has been shipped, then after being on hold she said it hasn't been shipped.

Then goes "were a small placed and can get very overwhelmed" when i said how it took a week just to realize i placed a fcken order.

I ordered new firebird emblems from them off there website and 2 weeks goes by without anything in the mail. I call them and they, "oh yeah, those are discontinued" all the while they charged my credit card for them! Were they ever going to tell me that? Then it took another MONTH for them credit me.

Dont recommend them at all. Seems like you wouldn't either.

If that ad did in fact say:

New Camaro Park Lamps Price: $49.99

Notice that it is "Lamps" and that is plural, meaning more than one. If they are now saying it is for one, it's false advertising.

Now with that said, don't bother with that company. They are more trouble than they are worth.

Perhaps I should start another petition, directly to Fbody Motorsports, requesting that they cease selling thirdgen parts.

Yes it is, and to add to it, they had a picture displaying 2. Rediculous.

It says "Price is per lamp" on their page. I buy tons of stuff online, and I always check to make sure the place is legit and if there is ANY doubt in my mind about what I am getting I will call the place. I have never had a single problem with anything I've ordered online. Just a matter of checking into everything first.

That being said, I have heard enough horror stories to know that when I need something, to buy from Hawks. Ordered my BB hood from hawks and had it delivered 2 days later, now if that isn't speed I don't know what is.

Yeah stealth I noticed that later on. Oh well. That is the about price per light that i have found out so . I'm not really pissed on that. If it takes a week just to realize I placed an order. Your buisness needs some help. And i'm not exagerating. It took a week. Then a week later , not even shipped yet. The page is misleading tho you have to admit, I fell for it. They should have A left light and a Right. I dont even know how they could tell what light i wanted. I suppose they just guessed lol, their light , "yeah gallagher? , 1 right parking light" riigghht stupid asses

Those guys are jerks, i ordered a headliner set from them, when i placed the order i expected to wait about 4 weeks to get it because thats what it said on the website. Soo four weeks later some jerk calls me to verify my address, and iam thinking oh great they must be ready to send it out. but at the end of our conversation he says "ok you should be getting it in about 4 weeks" iam like WHAT i ordered it four weeks ago "umm well we just got the order" meanwhile i was charged for it as soon as it was placed ...after that that i just canceled the order, and on top of the when i said i wanted to cancel the they seemed more than happy to cancel it , that really pissed me off ,, the nerve !!

They make a decent amount of business locally with fourth gen parts.

Just thought you guys would ove this. That emblem I ordered a while back and they said it was discontinued (read my above post), its still on their website! And you can order it too. But GM doesnt make them anymore. They still ahvent updated that even after my whole ordeal with them more than a year ago. Who runs this company?

I am about to drive down there just to make someone take responsibility for their actions. I ordered hood insulation 4 weeks ago or something like that. I've called them multiple times but for some reason they take like a goddam hour+ long lunch break where they dont think they need to answer the phones which I feel in incredibly unprofessional. Then it gets here today and its the wrong stuff. I will be setting them a link to this thread.

Hell send them a link to all the threads about them. Stacy (one of the owners, I believe) called me up personally one day to bitch me out because I was complaining about the company here. Please read the thread linked below for that story (it's on page 2).

Got a bit too close to a deer last month. Park lamps on Ebay running abotu $18 apiece. A1 Auto has the pair for about $45. Seem to ship really quick. These are aftermarket lamps, look like original but are somewhat lightweight, fit perfect though. I'd expect GM lamps to be double that if available.

Never ordered from F-body motorsports. When I joined this site back in 01, there was already a huge amount of horror stories about them. So I avoided. These are my favorite places to go for replacement parts:

1. BONEYARDS!
2. 1A Auto - excellent customer service good prices.
3. Hawks - decent prices, fast shipping, EXCELLENT customer service.
4. Classic Indusrties - so-so prices, EXCELLENT quality (hell it's new!), the best shipping. (I'm local..............lol)
5. Top down solutions - FABULOUS customer service, FAST shipping, EXCELLENT instructions.
6. Year One- Excellent selection, HIGH prices, decent shipping, EXCELLENT packaging.
7. E-bay- good prices, (if you aren't desperate or dumb) IMPORTANT:Check the vendors SELLING FEEDBACK. I've had about 95 percent good luck on e-bay.

If anyone else wants to show them these links they can because I have to wait now for them to reship my order so I dont want to piss them off. Also, they charged me $45 friggin dollars for shipping.

He just acted like I was bothering him or wasting his time so i wont waste anymore of their time by never calling again.

Actually, GM lamps were approximately $50 each when I ordered them last year from my local dealer.
