I'm building my car for the salt out at Bonneville, so I've been hitting a bunch of sites that I would've never found otherwise. One of 'em that I hit is a site where a bunch of professional engine builders hang out, & I seem to recall that one of the guys there had a pretty good opinion of them.

I apologize that I don't remember the quote or the context, but I remember that what they had to say moved OC into the "Top 5" list of vendors I'd contact when I finally get my stroker crank...

I know that this isn't the best answer you could've gotten, but I hope it helps a little bit...

I'm running their rods in my car.
Running one of their 4340 cranks in a 2500+hp blown 10.5 oultaw street car.
I'm going to be running one of their BBC billet cranks in a turbo'ed 10.5 outlaw street car

- very happy with their products and customer service.

Anyone else?

I am thinking of getting a 4340 stroker crank and some 4340 h-beam rods from them.

They do great work. They built the short block in my '69. They also built 2 motors for a very good friend of mine. He really likes there work too. In my opinion they do the best work for the price. They put my 383 short block together for $1380 and I only gave them a block and a set of H beam rods to use. Everything else I bought from them. They bored, honed, clearanced, line hone the mains, & zero decked the block. They had everything done in about 3 weeks. They also balanced everything with in a gram before assembling the motor.

How long have you had the motor? How many miles?

Did the parts look quality?

My motor has a about 1500 Miles on it and no issues at all. I used their crank in the engine and it looks fine. I asked them about the crank and they are the same as scat and eagle. They are all cast in China and machined here in the states. In fact when they run out of cranks they call scat and have a case sent to them. They are good to about 500HP. The pistons are speed pro. When you call there you I would talk to Scott or Stan.

I used their I beam rods. Not the reconned stock ones, but the ones one step above, $159USD I think? It's the cheapest non-used rods i've ever seen, comparable to summit $220 ones. My engine machinist looked at them and told me "they must be rebadged eagles". I imagine he's seen quite a few sets of rods in his day.
Anyway, I think Mwnova66 also has used this company, I think he pointed me towards them. They're good, their rods and cranks are a great price, and the same stuff as the other guys have. They have the big brands sets of other stuff, speed-pro pistons, clevite bearings, whatever rings etc etc, but the prices on those is about the same as other places.

Thanks guys.

I had been looking at the Eagle and Scat stuff also. If there cores are from the same place, then it comes down to the machining.

I think I will give them a shot!

thanks
