G-Man Transmissions?

Has anyone every worked with G-Man transmissions? When you do an ebay search for 700R4 or 4L60, his name comes up everywhere.

Here's the wesite, including marginally annoying sound effects when it loads:

G-Men Transmissions 700R4

Let me know what you know about this guy...

Try Pro -Built here.

Or Jimmys in Mundelein IL

Or use one of the trans vendors from turbobuick.com

IT costs money to do them right you skimp once you'll end up spending more when it frags.

Just a friendly warning.

Yes it does cost money to have a good tranny I got stuck one time before and lost out on $800 bucks!

But I own a G-Man Tranny now that I got off Ebay I installed it just like they said with a brand new tq converter. They have great customer service too, you can even call them on the weekend for any questions. The tranny I got from them was rated at 550hp, street/strip use w/lockup after 45mph. I did my research before I bought it they offered the Z-Pack which has 13 clutches instead of 9 clutches like other tranny builders use. Other companies wanted atleast $400 more for the Z-Pack.

Best of all they even sent a dvd of them making my tranny and personalizing it with my name on it with a cool looking paint job I might add. It came in a strong crate also with all paper work for my warrenty. Just call them they will tell you thats all they do is build trannys.

How long have you had the tranny for?
Any problems with it?

Thanks

G-Man transmissions may one day be the next big thing...but if I were you and you wanted to get a good transmission the first time I advise you to heed the advice quoted above. Do a search on TGO concerning Pro-Built transmissions and you will see what we're talking about here.

I personally own two Pro-Built transmissions and they are the only ones I would ever own.

Good luck.

Yeah I had a problem with my first tranny I bought like I said I got stuck for $800. I haven't had a problem with my G-Man tranny just call them they will tell you what goes into their trannys. I bought my tranny for my application 550hp tranny is more than enough for what I'm going to do. A low 12sec car is what I'm gunning for thats it. They also build stonger trannies for race it just depends on what you want. I have to say they were totally Pros when it came to service and advice. You can call them almost anytime during the day for any questions.
