Hey Kitt 1983, I've just gotten back into the game a little over a year ago, and have just been up to Camaro plus (no Problem with me, watch your price), and from what they been saying about this guy (Camaro Haven) doesn't sound to good, but i will check it out for myself. Depending on what your looking for i know of the young man in Pepperell, MA (you said Boston area, right) listed on Craig's List (sale-kpfq4-1166810775@ craigslist.org) or Call Jake at 1-978-877-7499 that really all the experience i have. Good luck Burbo
I don't get it, how can these guys justify the increased prices on their used parts??
I can go to the local pull a parts and get the same stuff for pennies on the dollar. I could have pulled a decent (repairable) 91 Trans Am bumper cover and honeycomb last weekend for less than $50.
The same one someone said camaro heaven wanted $500 for
I've looked at David T's website and his prices are through the roof......who are the idiots keeping him in business??
Well i have to agree with JamesC, you need to be aware of prices. My first time out i was so excited like a little boy in a candy store, I pick up rear seats for my 80 Z28 for $150.00 boy did i get SCREWED never again!!!! Do your homework. I learned not to get excited any more
Years ago I had been to their location and it was stocked full of parts. Recently, I had tried many times to contact them for various things and the service and replies were anything but "good". Seemed I call, talk to some woman who would say the guys were out in the yard and would get back to me, and days would go by. I finally did get some parts, which were "ok" (and too expensive) and in a condition which was obvious that they were just taken from the donor car... no cleaning done... but it's a salvage yard.
About prices, absolutely absolutely absolutely do your homework before simply purchasing from anyone. New GM Firebird parts... I can see them wanting to get their money from us, but used junkyard parts (which in reality, camaro heaven is a junkyard specalizing in 3rd gen cars) shouldn't be so expensive.
Hawks is a good place. I've had good experiences there.
Be careful with camaro heaven. If possible... go there, and buy directly from them.

I was planning on going there to look for 15x7 rims
kitt, what style rims are you looking to grab? i've got a set of 15s off my 87 TA (can't uses since I'm going with LS1 brakes up front), may be what you're looking for
I went up there last summer because they refused to return my calls about prices. There prices are way too expensive and they are unfriendly and unhelpful.

Hawks is a good place. I've had good experiences there. It's a wise idea to check and see what the average going rate is for most stuff before spending a dime with Hawks, Camaro Heaven, Thirdgen Ranch, etc. I don't know if he's still selling a lot of used parts, but RCAR always had good prices for used parts whenever I dealt with him in the past.

While I agree that Hawks has good service, if you actually think their prices for used stuff is reasonable, that must mean that Camaro Heaven's prices must've gone completely out of the stratosphere! Hawk's prices for used stuff is completely insane the last time I looked. While their used stuff is usually in good shape and arrives quickly, you could probably get NOS GM for about the same price or maybe even cheaper! You could almost get a new Moser 9" rear for what they ask for a used posi/disc rear. Same goes for one of their used T5's compared to a new TKO or G-Force spec T5.
