Classic Industries: T-top Headliner

I purchased over $500 worth of third gen goodies from Classic. Their print catalog is wrong in some areas and the website is wrong in some areas...sigh. I ordered a radiator overflow bottle off the website using the number provided for my third gen and received the bottle for an 80's pickup. However, they sent me a new bottle and refunded my shipping cost to send the other back since the website was wrong. I HIGHLY recommend the plastic (uncovered) t-top headliner they sell. When I received it, I was surprised to see that it was textured similiar to the rest of the trim. It looked gray, so I painted mine black and installed it as it was.

Z28GIRL, was that headliner part number AFH12? Not a bad price. Thanks for the tip! My headliner is completely gone, that way when I bought the car.

Classic Industries

I've used them for many parts over the years, very good. However their prices in the catalog are always a few dollars less then reality.

Re: Classic Industries: T-top Headliner

AFH12 is the right part number for the headliner. $139.95 is what I paid.....well less than that because I took advantage of their 20% preferred customer sale that has since ended. However, Oversize shipping charges suck!

Re: Classic Industries: T-top Headliner

I've got the same headliner and for some reason mine sags towards the front by the windshield. I'm going to pick up some double sided adhesive tape to try and get it to stick

Re: Classic Industries: T-top Headliner

I have the same headliner and it also sags in the front. I have tried every kind of tape but I can get anything to hold it up. It doesnt bother me too bad so I dont worry about it. It still looks way better than the old torn up one

Re: Classic Industries: T-top Headliner

You can see step-by-step instructions for that headliner in the tech article I wrote:
http://www.iroczone.com/technical/headliner/

There are plenty of pics in there too, although I need to take some better pics with the car outside.

Shop around for the headliner. Classic Industries is about the most expensive place to buy that headliner from. PM me for info.

Re: Classic Industries: T-top Headliner

I worked for classic Industries for several years the key to getting over is order during the 20% sales the have them every 3 months - oversize shipments do suck but unfortunately not a great deal of ways around it - they only ship via UPS and as with all shipping agencies it is the lesser of all evils for the time being

Re: Classic Industries: T-top Headliner

I got the same headliner, all I did is just recover it in leather and it fit like a charm, it's way better than the particle board that comes from the factory
