Dyno flow is suppose to be the #4 in the world distributer for Eagle engine products. What a joke. Stay away from. Heres me story
I purchased a stroker kit from the company off the internet. I ordered a eagle stroker crank,JE pistons,Bearings and rods. When everything arrived the rods were the wrong offset, The #3 Main journal had a grove cut in it from them balancing and the #3 journal was out of round 2.5575-2.5590 all on one main journal! No biggy i thought. They'll take care of me. Long story short Scott (the owner) told me to "put the crank in and don't listen to my machine shop. You want it loose for performance applications." Told him no way. Scoot WOnt even pay for the return of the crank back to him to make it right. Is this how be builds engines?? With blem parts and sells them to people that really don't know any better? After you purchase the parts and have problems he talks to you like your dirt.I've learned how to really cuss someone out after he talked to me like that.So don't deal with him off e-bay. F-
Ive heard of a few people who buy rods off ebay being our of round. Thats Prob one reason they are a good deal. The Companies prob buy up all the blemish parts that arnt that far out of wack.
Also know a few people who had to add several malory plugs to balance **** that said to be already balanced. Mallory being $70 a plug isnt cheap either.
Check out cnc-motorsports.com thats where I got my 383 stroker kit from, all Forged, crank, H beam rods, srp pistons, internally balanced, rings, and bearings for 1500 bucks.
Man thanks guys!! So upset about that. Have to check out those other places. I've heard about cnc motor sports. Really thinking about going with them. But i'm up for anything now. Those guys are such jerks!
sorry you have had the pleasure (or lack-therof)to deal with this pansy you are not the only one to deal with this guy,i have heard about guys from all over that have gotten SCREWED by this shop.hardly anyone here in vegas likes him and to top it off he is a joke at the track aswell !!!!!!
Man This guys crazy. Thats fine I filed multiple complaints about him. BBB, My credit card company and attourney general. Hes such an Jack A$$! I just want to wan as many people as possible so they don't run in to these problems. Hate to hear who else has problems with this guy.
Was it actually grooved, or was there just a mark on the journal?
honestly that does not make a difference at all.the fact remains the outfit is VERY unprofessional in every way...he will win your money by sounding like he knows his **** and after you buy from him he could care less if you do it again,he is a master of burned bridges here in vegas!
his cars have more problems getting down the track than anyone it has ALWAYS BEEN A MECHANICAL FAILURE,blown head gasket on the line and still ran the car tires get wet car goes sideways into the wall........3/10 passes he actually makes it down the track..he rarely comes to the track cause NOONE LIKES HIS SHADY ***!
It doesn't make a difference because the journal was still out of round, but it's perfectly normal for the mains to have rings on them after being spun up for balancing, unless they've been polished off afterwards/
It actually had a grove cut in it. You could grab it with your finger nail.. Shouldn't be that bad. I could see it just being scuffed up a lil.. Nope GROVED.. Also it is out of round. Verys from .005 under all the way up to max size spec all on one journal..#3.
man this is really making me worry. I bought a short block off him!!!!!! He is a a$$hole that is very true. and the guy that he has working for him is a D!ck also!!!!!! I waited over a month and 1/2 for my short block. But I did get it and it looks like it is a quality product. I really hope it holds up....... I do agree stay away from this guy!!!!!! I hope I am a lucky one
Well.. I hope its good too. He told me to put in the crank and not to worry about it..Its fine. My machine shop don't know what there doing..He runs 1000hp motors with that much clearance all day long.LOL How many times have bearings spun??

how many times has he made it down the track?
do you remember the castrol commercial where they drained the motor oil out and it still ran fine.........because they NEVER removed the filter that was full of oil!!!!!!
i really wonder where his alleged motors run definately not at LVMS !!!!
Just a heads up now.. The BBB said they can't help me cause we cant reach a possible reolution. To take it to small claims court or Consumer affairs. In his response letter calls me/says "silly" "moron" "incredibly stupid" "we all know what the BBB is worth". Man he's got a lot of anger. What else can I do?
I bought my kit from them a little over a year ago, paid extra for the balancing and the arp bolt upgrade and srp pistons, I took it to my shop to have it assembled and it still needed balancing, they did a piss poor job. Everything else turned out ok, no out of tolerance crap or anything. But from my discussion with them on the phone about the balancing, they wouldn't help me either..

Another vote for cnc-motorsports.com Got my Eagle rods from them and a couple of friends have bought from them also. No problems
THIS GUY DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO BUILD ENGINES AND EVERYONE I KNOW, KNOW WHO HE IS FOR BAD REASONS ONLY. IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT A JOKE THIS GUY IS, JUST ASK ME. I HAVE THE INSIDE SCOOP ON THE WAY THEY BUILD ENGINES.
INSTEAD, USE UNIVERSAL MACHINE SHOP, THEY ARE GREAT, GOOD PRICES, AND STEVE THE OWNER IS AN OLD LOCAL RACING CHAMP.
LOL..You had a bad experiance with him to hu?? Yea I lost shipping and time outta that deal. He's such a jerk too. He seems to do alright on e-bay though.. Don't know how!
So did you go with CNC?
Well, here's a new year & new season coming up-- Good luck in your venture!
Maybe you 2 will line up at a track & you spank his silly a*s!!
well it is still together, just been nothing but issues, had to change all the freeze plugs, they leaked as soon as I started it up, fricken thing wont seal up, leaking oil form the back of the block, thinking it wasnt balanced right, all in all bunch of jack a$$es. And when I called while I was waiting for my block for over 2 months they would talk down to me, then once it shipped never picked up the phoe, left many messages and never reeponded...STAY AWAY
