Re: crate engine depot??

It seems to be a Chevy Dealer in a town called Arlington Heights. Maybe they want to compete with scoggin-dickey...

Also looking for info from anyone who has dealt with them. My son is looking at getting a crate engine from them for his '87 Camaro.

If you call ask for Greg. He is known as Two Tons of Fun on tbssowners.com. Very cool straight forward guy. They are a vendor over there.

Re: crate engine depot??

They are trying to sell him an S-10 engine bored out to 3.4. Info on their website says this particular engine is for use with carburetors only. Why don't they have a Camaro 2.8 bored to 3.4? Warranty says "engines are intended as a direct replacement engine, and if not used in the application for which it was intended and designed by GM will void any and all warranties" Something doesn't smell right.

Re: crate engine depot??

Only comment I can make is I have found better prices. Seems like Fred Bean has the best GM perf parts prices.

I have no problems with you guys at all. I have just found better prices often. I am sure you are a great company but in the day of internet shopping it's always easy to find best price. I don't go by price only but will only buy from reputable dealers or companies I have heard about.
