MODERN DAY MUSCLE

My review on modern day muscle is not too good right now. I ordered a smog pump delete pulley last friday and i never even got a ups tracking number. So i figured no big deal, i'll just message perry. I've messaged him twice and have gotten no response. I've bought from him before and had no problems, but i'm not happy that i'm not getting a response right now. Its been a week and the parts not here, i didnt get a tracking number, and hes not responding. I'm getting frustrated

Re: MODERN DAY MUSCLE

Some more eh? Looks like Modern Day Muscle is sliding big time.
I was hoping to buy stuff from him and emailed him several time with no reply. I even emailed some Aol account I found on TGO that is his backup.

Hopefully (for us) he is just going through something in his personnal life and his business will return to normal. In the mean time, better pause those orders.

Re: MODERN DAY MUSCLE

I am having some problems also. I orderd some parts and got them which is good, but the hatch release was the wrong type. It did not have the cable that runs to the key. I sent Modern Day Muscle a few e-mails but got no response. You only have 12 days to return it but I couldn't get a reply. So I had to use someone else (Brock's camaro and firebird parts, got my remote hatch release today ). So I guess I'm just out $26. THANKS MDM.

Re: MODERN DAY MUSCLE

I ordered a few things from MDM on 4/20. My parts arrived fine on the 30th, but I never got a response to an email I had sent them during that time.

Today I finally got a reply to my email:
Quote:
Hi, sorry we were unable to respond to your email sooner, we have had some major issues with our web mail server and lost a lot of emails and couldn't get into our Inbox till today since 4-13. I just checked the USPS tracking number and they are showing the package as delivered on 4-30 so I am assuming you received it but if there are any problems, please let us know. Thanks

MODERN DAY MUSCLE
A Quasar Enterprises Company
It sounds like they have their email server back up and running. If you don't hear anything from them, your email may have been lost and might not be a bad idea to shoot them another one.

I've ordered parts from them in the past and have always been friendly and seem willing to work with people if they have any problems.

Re: MODERN DAY MUSCLE

I find it funny because most people or real car guys don't like to wait over a week with no response from a company when they order a part. I hate waiting more than three days now because of summitracing and jegs have my parts at home in 2-3 days. They have spoiled me. But, USPS is garbage and always take forever.

You guys must be doing something wrong. I ordered rocker badges and they arrived on the 6th day as expected. I have never had a problem with the quality or time of any order.

Not to mention they have 100% rating on Ebay. That's why I ordered from them today even after reading this thread.

I've ordered from MDM twice. Once thru their website and once via ebay. NO issues and product arrived intact.

ebay transaction took a bit longer. Paid on May 5th and product arrived today.

Also, have more parts coming. I'd give them a thumbs up and buy from them again.

Just my 2c...

Re: MODERN DAY MUSCLE

I didn't read what everyone wrote, I don't have time, but I have to say once again i'm surprised. I just received my radio in the mail and my two bump stops. The radio didn't work so Perry mailed me a new radio without even getting mine back and testing it. That's the best customer service i've ever had especially since I don't do much business with him. The last time I got a one peice airdam and all the bolt holes didn't line up so he mailed me another one for free. Apparently there is a couple different ones for a firebird without the aero package. I just thought he was trying to pawn off aftermarket parts as oem, but I guess I was wrong. If I cared about looks I would buy a lot more from him but that's not my priority.
