Re: PCM for less

He does/did 3rdgens.
He used to drive an 87 vert.
The one time I met him he just kept trying to sell me stuff.
First a tune. Pay no attention to the fact I burned my own proms or had a carb.
Then he was going to tune my carb.
Then when that didn't work he was going to sell me dart heads.
Again pay no attention to the fact I was at the shop I was at talking to him to pick up my just ported trickflow heads.

Guy didn't give up. Kind of annoying really.

Re: PCM for less

Alvin burnt a chip for my Iroc a few weeks ago via mail order. I had to reset the injector value, remove VATS, EGR and reset a few other things as well. This of course went just fine. I didn't realy notice any power increase which woulda been nice, but since it was mail order, I have no complaints. Power wasn't really the goal anyway.

If power IS your goal, the only way to go is Dyno and "in" car tuning.
