RockAuto.com, Excellent Customer Service

Recently ordered a center link from them. It came in a torn up box, and was missing the hardware to go with it. I emailed them about it, and they sent me a whole new one. I didn't even have to return the first one!

I am extremely pleased with the customer service I received. Wish they got it right the first time, but these things happen, and when they do, its nice when they take care of you.

So an A+++ to RockAuto.com

Re: RockAuto.com, Excellent Customer Service

I actually just dealt with them for the first time today (sunday).
Emailed them last night, as i'm desperately trying to find the steering box for my car. Not the crappy car-done reman that is stocked locally, and is hit or miss if it's actually the high perf ratio, but the correct one.
Emailed them and asked how long it takes to get to Canada and they emailed me back sunday morning, estimated time, plus they reminded me that the duty/taxes is paid, so I don't have to fork out to UPS when they get here.
Rock on rock auto!

Re: RockAuto.com, Excellent Customer Service

I've used them many times. Parts are always quickly delivered and, so far, they have not made any mistakes on my orders. I prefer them over anyone.

Re: RockAuto.com, Excellent Customer Service

Got my steering gear in. The input splines are a bit squished. Just like the one i'm replacing in my car I guess with a reman, they replace seals, but don't check it for fit.
I received it on friday, phoned on saturday, brought it back to a fedex to be shipped back to them, and once they got the tracking number updated, they put another one in the mail for me yesterday. Whoo!

They re-imbursed me shipping, $50 for returning their old pump. Which is nice, since i'm in Canada.
Their speed and constant communication is very refreshing.

Re: RockAuto.com, Excellent Customer Service

I just ordered all new carpet from them, and I had a good experience. It took about a week to get here, and was nicely boxed. I got the essex type carpet, and it's a very nice product.

Re: RockAuto.com, Excellent Customer Service

I recently ordered some Raybestos rotors and when Rock could only locate three of the four, a rep called to see if I'd be satisfied with a replacement. I wasn't and cancelled the order, but I appreciated the contact. Oh, if you order make sure you use the discount sticky.

Re: RockAuto.com, Excellent Customer Service

I've had nothing but excellent experiences with rock auto. I just purchased a brand new starter motor from them for $0.49! (It was a discontinued model, but still, an excellent price.)

Re: RockAuto.com, Excellent Customer Service

Update: Here's what happens with a non-Rock order. I today opened my shipment from PartsAmerica. The Bendix (American made) 1LE rotors I ordered were not Bendix at all, but Parts Master (China). Was I advised of a substitution? No. They're going back this afternoon. Looks like I'm back to Rock for the AC Delco I should have ordered in the first place.
