Todays Classics, ebay

I did a buy it now on some dent runner steel balls from user "todays classics"

After 3 weeks I still havent got them. Filed with ebay/paypal. Says I have to wait 30 days.

Today I noticed this person is no longer a registered user. Any idea if I will still get my money back? (has anyone else had this situation before?)

Also, anyone else ever bought from this person? Who is it because I couldnt find any contact info, or even a name off ebay. Before I was able to get a persons name, address, phone number. Not this time(pre no longer user).

if you used paypal you will get your money back. So that might help a little bit, but you still have to wait 30 days

today's classics is my dad. He had a hart attack on the 22 of April. He hade to have 3 stints put in he's hart and has been in and out of the hospital for the last 3 months. He is trying the best he can to take care of everybody. I have been working for the last 2 weeks on taking care of any loose strings he has left. I can see no record of you contacting paypal. I will be more then happy to work things out with you on he's behalf.

Re: Todays Classics, ebay

Dale:

I ran into the exact same Ebay situation and it was the Ebay TPI dent kit around June 8th? The owner of "Todays Classics" did have a substantial medial emergency. I figured something was out of the norm because Todays Classics had "thousands of positive ebay feedbacks" ...then within a few days started having delivery problems and complaints.

He was laid up and for obvious reasons couldn't tend to his business matters. I did some reasearch and learned that his son "dave mc" was a third gen forum member and contacted him. Dave then explained the situation and with the help of his father (passwords) etc got into the PayPal and Ebay accounts to make good. He ensured that I got my all of my money back!!

I then posted on this forum looking for a TPI dent removal kit and Dave again responded that he had one available. He then made good with my TPI Dent Kit...arrived today (and for less than what I paid via ebay)! I suggest you work with him. He (or his dad) could have just brushed me off...but they didn't...he and his Dad worked to make my Ebay deal good! Dave took it upon himself to make good!

I'm glad I got my kit...but really happy that his dad is on the road to recovery!

Re: Todays Classics, ebay

I posted this due to thinking whoever owned it might be on here and get a response. As well see if anyone had information that could help me get my item or money back in the odd situation(account closed).

I did get my money back from paypal at the end of june(much sooner then expected). I also understand people have medical problems. But it appeared parts kept getting listed on ebay.... Yet not all were getting shipped out?? Even worse, messages not being replyed to. Had I gotten a message saying we had a medical problem in the family, parts will be shipped out soon as possilble. I would have waited.

I'm willing to hold my word that I put in the pm to dave as to how I would like the kit. Not many people sell this kit, and they had the best feedback. Makes me wonder about the "other guys". But the Ball is in his court if he wants to make a possible customer happy. Or let it be done n over and this be the only thread about it... Which I figured it was.
