Weatherstripspecial.com

Hi
I live in the UK and bought a 1984 Camaro Z28E a couple of years ago, an impulse buy my first american car, since then I have fallen in love with it, it deserves some tlc, so I want to do some restoration, the first job replace the weatherstrips around the T top, so searching the net I came across weatherstripspecial.com and ordered a complete set of seals for the T top with them, they were very quick to take my money, this was in May 2008, since I did not recieve them by the middle of June I began E-mailing them on a regular basis, they do not reply to any of my E-mails!! I have phoned twice the first occasion they appologised saying they were'nt despatched on the day they said, and they were going to be with me soon they gave me a tracking number which turned out not to be a tracking number, after another two weeks I phoned again , they appologised again saying they would look into it and E-mail me telling me where they were in transit or despatch replacements, as expected no E-mail. I suspect I will not recieve them and have been ripped off by this "company", has any body had experience of this company? and as I do not expect them to arrive now is there a reliable company I can get the weaterstrips from?
Regards
Alan

Re: Weatherstripspecial.com

You should file a complaint with whatever you used to purchase it with.

Re: Weatherstripspecial.com

We had a bad experience with a1 auto. The service was alright but the parts were junk. For my dads 1981 z28 we had purchased weather strips for the doors t-tops and seals for the t-tops and the stuff they sent us was a joke. It was all dry and hard weather stripping that didn't even conform to the car almost. The customer service was bad as we tried to return them and got no response. We lost about 500$ in weather stripping and they lost our business. They were almost so bad of weather stripping that it didn't even let the doors close with out really slamming them hard.
