Buying from Jim85IROC...

Concerning Jim,

Jim85IROC - Moderator on www.Thirdgen.org

Email Jim85IROC@yahoo.com

I have been looking / searching & asking questions of him for over a year & Jim has always been professional & helpful. He has the best prices & for those 2 reasons, I ordered a T-Top Headliner & Sunshades from him.

Along with the above mentioned items and other headliner parts, he sells seats & kits, door panels, and many other things… Please checkout his web site…

http://www.iroczone.com/motorsports/

As for the carpet / headliner, etc… he get’s his stuff form the same place that the big companies do… Hawks, A-1, Classic Industries, etc… He does have the lowest price. I do recommend patience. The headliner company he deals with does not provide tracking / shipping info since items are drop shipped (the same I assume with other vendors). It took about 3 weeks from when I paid to when I got my items. I had asked for a fabric sample (I may purchase a PMD seat cover kit from Jim too) and on the invoice that came on the box, it clearly states “include fabric sample”. None was provided. Of course, this is not Jim’s fault, he put the request in, but the manufacture's mistake. So you know, sometimes problems happen beyond our control. I notified Jim and he said he would again request the sample for me.

On a side note, a couple of years ago, there was a heated debate on thirdgen.org about speaker placement and how far the tweeter should be from the driver, etc… Jim and I discussed back and fourth for a couple weeks & I even remember another member stating “what a great discussion”… We both kept our cool & as stated, Jim still helped me afterwards with all my questions (for over a year!) before buying from him. Again, hat’s off for being a gentleman and a valued member of this community.

I asked about WORLDWIDE shipping and he says he can do, for people building cars over seas.

So thank you once again, look forward to spending more money with you!

Rafael

Very good review!

I do need door panels, PMD seat covers, and door/ window seals. Dealing with a true 3rd gen expert (and a willing contributor to the 3rd gen forum) would be a true pleasure.

If he takes mastercard i'm in

Re: Buying from Jim85IROC...

When I get around to ordering my headliner, sunvisors, and t-top shades I had already planned on getting them from him.If he has window sweeps and weatherstriping available I`ll get them as well ...if I ever quit nickle and diming the drivetrain.
