Hawks Third gen, sell the GM ones. You can either get a full kit or specific one's.I bought the T Top kit,and everything fitted well.

Re: which weather strips?!?

You bought the full t-top Kit? I was thinking about getting it but it is a bit pricey. but know I have heard a good review on it i'm really thinking about it. Do the t-top seals leak on it?? We had that problem with reproductions on my dads 81.. :-o

Re: which weather strips?!?

I Dont drive it much in the rain,But when i washed it the first time, after putting the seals in,I had to make a few small adjustments,at the front corners.I think you'll find that nothing will fit perfectly first up,as given the age of these cars, there is bound to have been some body movement, however small.I just had to pull the stripping in a couple of spots, and add a little bit of silicone.I personally dont mind paying the extra for the GM stuff, especially where it concerns keeping water out of the car.Just make sure that your t-top bar in the middle is in good condition,as you dont want to be pulling out new stripping,to fix or replace it.Hope this helps.

Re: which weather strips?!?

Thanks man I'm sorta worried about it keeping out the rain. I'm strict on money so this set is gonna have to work. Im replaceing my t-tops and soon I'm gonna repaint the car so I just want to have the stuff lined up. I would love to buy all gm stuff but it would come out to like 500-600$? oh well thanks for the advice peeps. i'm ordering it today.

Re: which weather strips?!?

Be careful using silicone next to metal parts. It causes a chemical reaction and can rust the metal. Buttle rubber is better, and you can buy it in black in a tube as a thick liquid at Napa. ( windshield sealer)
