Steeda Tri-Ax Shift handle?

I came across this, and I was wondering would this work on in camaro's? (it says it's for mustangs but it look like it could work on a camaro too.)

I've been looking for a quick/short shift handle, for my six speed tranny.

anyone bought one of these? if not, whats a good quick/short shift handle?

here's the link to JEG'S where I found it.

Edit: Or what about this Roush Performance Jack Shifter? Im not sure how it would sit, or look.
let me know,

Thanks,

Re: Steeda Tri-Ax Shift handle?

Get a Hurst, probably one of the best ones for a T56, I have one in both my LT1 6-speed and my 4th gen as well. The Steeda unit is for Mustangs only, since that's mainly who they cater to, same with Roush and Saleen.

The Billet Plus were the ones that came in the WS6 and SS from the factory.

really? how does it feel to have it? is it basically a short shifter? I'm not gonna amuse it is, because I can mistake by the size of it. I might buy the first one you showed.

Re: Steeda Tri-Ax Shift handle?

With the stock 4th gen shifter handle I can tell a BIG difference between the stock shifter and the Hurst, has a very tight spring that keeps the shifts solid and you actually "feel" the shift.
