New F-Body Parts Dealer Coming - *Need feedback*

I was recently given the opportunity to develope content for a performance site dealing in F-body's. The prices with be competetive on everything from superchargers to bushings but we need your feedback to build a site that is well rounded and suited to your performance needs. Please give a list of what parts you want or that would want a performance site to carry because we are are going beat alot of people's prices on quite a bit of things and have access to tons of dealers.

Wow everything so far is very doable but is there brand specific or would a little bit of everything work, like we have deals with procharger, weiland, and vortech so would you like to see all 3 on there?

if you can price match or do better than other suppliers, then that probably would be a good thing.

I don't know if your facility can accomodate the idea, but maybe used parts? Or at least direct swap/custom swap things like 4th gen dashs, gauges, axles, seats. And as mentioned before, LSx and LTx swap parts. Just an idea.

How about everything to make a brand new thirdgen? Just kidding. Since we can get alot of NOS parts or very good used ones, I think you should stick with upgrades like suspension, drivetrain, or aftermarket body parts.

Something else comes to mind: 16 x 9 or 16 x 9.5 inch IROC wheels.

Re: New F-Body Parts Dealer Coming - *Need feedback*

Well I can only get the american racing iroc wheels and yea there only 8 wide wish I could get them larger. But since I have been getting all the feedback I have been going through all the products and pulling everything into one pile that will fit f-bodys and then organizing and getting prices from other sites. You would be suprised at all the companys we do business with and the book I have to pull from has over 1100 pages and I still need to contact manufacturers as to availabillity and if they want to deal with us. But keep them coming because I would like to make a one stop performance site for you guys and the more feedback the better.

Exert some influence as a seller/distributor. I wonder how many "pre-orders" would be required for American Racing to show some interest.

well there is sorta a store already and its http://speedandtruckworld.com/ but this is going to be a website built just for f-bodys but you could just walk into one of there stores and order stuff. They are a good company and the people I deal with are just awsome and the owner of the altamonte store is the mastermind to all of this. Getting your feedback and building a site for the people, by the people.

possibly carry some reupholstering kits, 82-02 seats, leather, and cloth. If you need to know what you talking about, classic industries has the kits. I plan on going to leather one day for my 4th Gen. seats.
----------
o and also...here's one. I know this is hit and miss for interest...but going along with reupholstering...carpeting to replace the kick panels, center console, and rear compartment, to replace the "deluxe" carpeted interiors. I'm going to need carpeting to re-do the interior on my Berlinetta one of these days.

Well as far as the stock tpi I havn't found much but we do carry the BBK TPI intake and we do have dealings with painless and they make wiring harnesses for our cars. And as for Canada I will have to ask because I wouldn't see much of a reason why not, if you pay the god awful shipping you should be able to get it. I had to order a full set of control arms and performance sway bars from BC and ship them to FL and the shipping almost match the price of the parts (this was for my vega).

Repair parts that are harder to find would nice. Things like floor pans, dash kits, and bumper covers. Hoods besides cowl induction would be nice. Half the time, all I can find are OEM style or cowl induction. Most vendor's idea of choice for hoods is 3",4",or 6".

Are you talking about the inner fender or the plastic pieces in the front fenders. If it is the plastic pieces Classic Industries carries them for $68.99 a piece. They call them Inner Fender Stone Shields part #G4001 & G4002. By the price you have I am guessing you are talking about the inner fender itself.

I have personally have been looking for the brace that you mount the spare tire to.

Bot-on/easy-to-install V6 turbo kit that doesn't have me taking out my AC.

I think you should focus on interior parts. Specifically parts that are not being made by anyone anymore. ac vents? possible even a whole dash?

Re: New F-Body Parts Dealer Coming - *Need feedback*

I would like to see a good selection of chassis/suspension parts, interior and exterior parts. I too would like to see the 16 or 17 by 9.5 Iroc rims. And being one of the guys putting an LT1 into a third gen, I would really like to see a good grouping of LT1 parts available in one place, gets annoying chasing from site to site. I like to find one source and buy everything from that one place. Keep us posted!

Yeah, strong customer service is a must. There are too many places that would be great if it weren't for extremely lousy customer service.

Steering rebuild kits, fibreglass aerowings.

On customer service, if you need to get something in from a manufacturer, email the customer and let them know. I don't care when something is out of stock and will take two weeks, so long as it's coming. It reflects poorly on some otherwise good sites when after a couple of weeks nothings been shipped, they haven't emailed you and you have no idea what's happening, so you have to start emailing/calling.
