Re: Cardone Remanufactured Parts.....

I worked in an autoparts store for 5 years, and after my dad retired he started working there recently also. We carried Cardone, and sold alot of it. It's cheap, and it works. We had more returns due to variances in parts instead of crappy rebuild quality. That distributor should give you its moneys worth if your car is just a driver.

Re: Cardone Remanufactured Parts.....

I worked for a parts store for a couple years that sold Cardone components, and from my experience their products are of fair quality. Most of the problems I found with their components is that when they rebuild they tend to replace only the worn out or broken parts. Sometimes this can leave components inside your part that should have been replaced because they were worn, but weren't because they were not "worn out" or broken. As a general overview goes though, a majority of the Cardone products I have sold and used myself have given years of worry free performance. Your distributor should be fine.

Re: Cardone Remanufactured Parts.....

I worked for Cardone for 10yrs.. they build quality parts both new and remanufactured..not rebuilt. I have been to the factory over a dozen times and have seen the scrutiny that the parts go through. Each part is disassembled, cleaned and remanufactured using OE quality parts or better. they actually improve on OE's Flaws by reverse engineering the parts to make them last longer in the field.. so put the unit on with confidence and enjoy...
