I ordered a few items form TDS last evening. I used PayPal to pay and I want to say that I have never been so informed about an order before of any kind! I have received emails for every step of the process. I just received an email with a tracking number and it's not even 24 hrs. since I placed the order.
I want to say, without even looking at the parts, that so far, TDS is GREAT!
Thanks for the information TDS!
I'll post again when I get the parts.

I just ordered a healdight motor repair kit from them. So far, I like how informative they are, but I'll post more when I recieve my parts in 2-5 days.
I got a Wonderbar and door hinge repair kit, very satisfied with the customer service, and the part quality looks very good, can't wait till spring to get them installed
How long did your orders remain in the "processing" stage? Mine has been there for over 24 hours and he left a note saying ships Thursday... thursday is over with now and it's still "processing". Just curious.
My order was shipped the next day after I placed it. No problems at all and I got to assemble my motor housing yesterday. Everything went together great and now my rear hatch pulls down like it should.

Sorry, Thursday was very busy. Three off-site meetings at different locations and a trip to a pick-a-part yard. I did ship your order as promised last Thursday. I just checked the online tracking and see the order was mis-sent by the USPS and has been re-routed. Blame them for it taking longer than usual to arrive. I sent you the delivery confirmation number Friday. Keep me informed if you don't receive it soon.
I just recently ordered a hatch pull down repair kit. The parts got here fast and it was everything I needed. All that was left of my original set up was the big plastic screw the rest was shattered to peices but with this kit I was able to get it all put back together and it works great now. Thanks.
It's been more then a couple weeks since somebody said something nice about TDS. I ordered a hatch pull down deluxe rebuilt and wonderbar from Lon last Friday, I had it at my house Thursday. Also got the tracking number and a nice e-mail from him. As always, a joy to do business with!

I dealt with Lon back in Febuary for a set of uncoated SFC's, He was cool enough to call me back and tell me that it would take alittle longer due to the fact he didn't have any on hand at that moment. I know alot of companies would just tell you to deal with it. Definately will do business with him again!!

last week i had ordered uncoated sfc's and was also told it would be about a week because they were not in stock. he emailed me this info and i asked if he could just send me a set of red ones. lon took care of it and i got them yesterday.
the sfc's are going on the vert this week. as soon as i can, im going to order a set for the 91 rs.
once again great job to lon and tds. great communication, quality products, reliable business.
I have purchased several items from Lon in the past year, everything is always just what you need, instructions are awesome, and communication is excellent.
If all the other business in this industry took care of their customers the way that Top Down Solutions does theirs, there would still be a LOT more people in this hobby. I know a lot of people who have given up on this hobby because of horrible quality control and non-existent customer service from other companies.
Lon at TDS is the best you'll ever deal with. Period. I agree with 'TA', if everyone else delt with customers the way Lon does, we wouldn't need these threads!
Customer service does not get any better than TDS. Lon even provided immediate technical assistance, including emailed pics when I was installing their SFCs, which were of great quality.
A+ service from TDS for sure. I ordered the headlight repair kit and 2 aluminum headlight gears. I got an email saying he only had 1 gear at the moment but that he would ship the repair kit and 1 gear and then ship the other one later.
I received one package on one day and then the second the next day.
Also received about 5 emails along the way verifying the order being placed, shipped, processed, tracking etc.
TDS is one company I dont think anyone will have a negative feedback for simply because Lon cares..If something isnt right he will contact you personally to let you know what can be done and what his word is as good as gold.I ordered parts from him before here in canada and received it in 3 days.cant beat that and the prices ares fair and the quality of the parts are better than expected.Id order anything I can from TDS in my sleep any day

Way to go, tipping off everyone that I'm in the process of making power seat guides. Yes they are started. I'm a coulple of weeks away from listing them and of course your getting the very first set available at no charge. Thanks for your patience and help in getting this product started. I'm currently away from the office attending a convention in TN returning Sunday.
Thanks, Lon

Have to get my little bit in! lol
I purchased some greasable door pins and some other minor parts. I can't say enough good about Lon and the company! Lots of emails back and forth, prompt shipping and quality product! I keep checking back to see if he lists something new that I need! lol
I managed to brake my door hindge replacing the roller pin.Lon sold me a good used hinge set.Shipping and parts were A+.I finally hung my drivers door tonight after replacing upper and lower bushings and a new pin and it works perfect. These parts make our doors as good as new.
I just thought that I might add an international opinion. I am from Melbourne Australia, so the reliability of a company is more important than the cost (within reason). Usually I order something smallish and see how much a company cares, they make hardly anything on a small order to overseas so it's a pretty good test of them. Lon is, without question THE best person I have dealt with. I have since placed a few orders and I have just placed another. His prices are good, but even if I could get it a bit cheaper somewhere else, why would I risk it? Huge thumbs up to Lon.

Well my parts arrived today, not bad considering how far they had to go. As always, fast shipping and good packaging, I couldn't be happier.
THANKS LON

this has to be a rule when you review a site or product
My banner as on TGO does get lost in the clutter of Google ads lately. But if you want to get your teeth whitened or find a deal on a Honda Accord this is the site to use!
