Bi xenon

Hello guys i bought the bi-xenon kit for my car. but i still need to buy the other set for my inner lights which hopefully i can get next month money is a little short at the moment. but here is my problem

its a 83 z28 camaro

ok well i got them installed and noticed that the high beams are stuck on...

as in when i turn my headlights on there stuck on the high beam. when i switch to high beam there still on high beam. When i switch back to low beam there still on high beam... However my driver side is some times random... its either on high and or low.. but when its on low once i switch it to high beam its stays on high beam.... but when i shut my lights off they both switch to low beam for couple of seconds then turn off....

here my conversion thread... if i get time i will post some pictures of the harness thing that connects to the stock harness to the hid harness

http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/el...tallation.html (Hid installation)

fyi he has the bi-xenon's where the solenoid moves the bulb into high beam position.

heres the link that says how to connect the hid bulbs http://hid-light.com/install/install.html

so can anybody help me with this problem i would like to get this fixed

Re: Bi xenon

ok in the picture the wire are from the hid harness to stock

Black goes to factory yellow or orange

white goes to factor green

blue goes to factor black...

what wires do i need to change?

and what does the white and blue wires mean?!?!?

Re: Bi xenon

I switched mine around on the adapter, but you could switch them on the stock harness. But that just means extra work if for any reason you had to put sealed beams back in an emergency, or had to go back to stock for some reason, not that it's all that hard. Just look at the individual sockets in the plastic part of the adapter. Usually a small screw driver inserted at the right spot, and the metal part will slide right out.

Re: Bi xenon

You may need to check out the condition of the rest of your cars wiring. You may want to replace them.

http://innovativewiring.com/ChevyPro...CamaroPage.htm

Could also be a bad dimmer or headlight switch

Re: Bi xenon

Colors don't mean anything to me, I did this so long ago. Plus the colors on your adapter may be different from mine, just use the diagram. Top one is the H4, middle one is the stock.
