Re: turbo city vacume adjustable fuel pressure regulator
I dealt with turbo city about 4 years ago when my 92 was TBI. I bought a bored out TB and had to put a AFPR in it. It worked out well but knowing what fuel pressure I had was a bit difficult. What I had and what you have on the link are different. My guess is this is their updated version. Looks pretty good from what I can tell. I will atest for the great performance I got out of the TB though. My throttle response became instant and they gave me good tech support.
Re: turbo city vacume adjustable fuel pressure regulator
I'm building a roller cammed 383. I plan on using a 454 throttle body with the the stock 350 injecters. With higher fuel pressure this should work ok. I'm trying to avoid running rich at idle.
Re: turbo city vacume adjustable fuel pressure regulator
I'm sure if you give Turbocity a call they'll set you in the right direction. I had a strange fuel curve that I couldn't work out for whatever reason. It was rich in low rpm and lean at high rpm. I eventually just went TPI when I got a donor car.
Re: turbo city vacume adjustable fuel pressure regulator
G.M. used to make a factory vafpr for the 454 tbi but they have discontinued it. Mericruiser used to make one also. Does any body know where I can find one of those?
