goodmark hoods

So i ordered a 4" cowl steel hood through summit on march 9th 2009 knowing the expected ship date was going to be march 25th 2009... i checked summits site roughly on the 18th and it said that the expected ship date was april 4th 2009 so i called summit they said thats the shipping date we've gotten from goodmark (ships direct from them) So i call them up and ask whats up they explain that one of their shipments was delayed so all of their hoods are pushed back until they get their new shipment in..(no biggie i let it slide)

Then today i looked on the site again and it said april 17th 2009. So i ask summit whats up gave me the same answer. So i call goodmark up again, and i asked what the expected ship date was for my hood that i ordered almost a month ago and the answer i get back is Your looking at June.

Called summit back canceled my hood, And had them switch it to the 4" cowl fiberglass hood from harwood for an extra $55 Ships Tomorrow

Re: goodmark hoods

i've thought about getting a harwood, i just dont like the gap between the front of the hood and the front bumper, seen too many cars this way. want that gap nice and tight.
