Hello i am looking to do a 383 ot 408 stroker motor in my 84 camaro. i was wondering where the best website or place was to purchase the parts to redo my motor. The motor is a gen 1 350 ci motor that needs to be redone. also any tips would be great as well.
thanks for your time

what tom said, there are tons of places that sell stroker kits, its will be best for you to figure out how much hp you want and go from there. do things right the first time, set a horse power goal, research on this board and buy then stuff you want.
enginekits.com northernautoparts.com a scat crank...
I was going to stroke my 305, but changed my mind with the balancing hassle and cost. seems like they pretty much HAVE to be balanced, I thought they would have internal balanced ones that would work with a certain piston and rod weight out of the box.
balancing can cost more than the cheap cast crank. not to mention block clearancing and more expensive pistons usually. depends on your budget and goals, but might find hp some other cheaper way.
I've seen kits like Eagle's that the bearings all had to be resized since they were 0.001" off in clearances, ie. too tight, and then I've seen Eagle kits that were spot on.
Many companies sell kits, Jeggs, Summit, Doug Herbert, Paceparts, Ohio Crankshaft.... So I'm sure you're going to see a lot of opinions. First thing you need to decide is wether you will need forged (power adder later on) or not.
