9/1/09 - I'd like to thank all my customers for making the last 12 years great at Skulte Performance Designs. With sadness, I've decided to close SPD to focus on different priorities. Thanks for the wonderful times. You guys have been the best anyone could ask for!
It sucks that he'll be closing, but as mentioned I'm sure he had his reasons. Anyone know where to get wheel adapters? I had planned on ordering my new rims this spring. I'd really hate to put brand new tires on my stockers.

IMHO, buy wheels that fit instead of spending $200 to make other wheels fit. Spend the $200 on wheels that fit right the first time.......
I would normally agree... but if I went by that, I wouldnt have gotten a full set of 4th gen WS6 wheels with new tires for a couple hundred bucks....plus a couple hundred more for some adapters. 4th gen wheels are such a deal when looking for a new look in the wheel department.
I agree that i would like to not have to use the adapters...but there was no way I could spring for proper wheels...and I needed something to fit my brakes. Decision was easy.
I hope someone makes adapters and spacers up to Skulte's quality, because they were some of the best IMO.
J.

It wouldn't be so bad if there was a larger selection of wheels available for our cars that didn't cost a fortune. I'd like to have a set of 92 Firehawk wheels, but I can't afford the $2K it cost for the wheels and then another $500-$600+ on tires. As ghetto cruiser mentioned I can find a nice set of wheels that'll fit on a GenIV for considerably less money, a set of wheel adapters, and tires for less than half the cost of what it would cost to get what I REALLY want or paying for custom backspaced wheels.
man this is such a bummer, i was planning on doing a TKO or T56 swap this winter and was gona get a crossmember from him. Hopefully he sells his patents to Spohn or BMR and they put them into production on their name. His were probably about the best you could buy.
