A+ excellent service, easy transaction, and very knowledgeable
I bought a hatch from Jim @ birds and bowties (http://www.birdsandbowties.com/) I called them wednesday, he told me he had one, got there thursday, he had it pulled and he even helped me put it on.
Long story short, from now on when I need a part for one of my camaros, birds and bowties will be my first call.
Thanks, it was a real pleasure doing business!

I dont even know what they are going to look like. I just put my trust in her to make then. I gave colors and materials she is doing the rest. I am in afghanistan right now i wont even see them till the 23 of this month. So it is a surprise for me to see how they turn out.
I ordered their dash pad Friday 7/9 and received it yesterday. Laid it out over my dash and it looks awesome. Hides all the cracks until I can afford a new dash pad. Most likely put the cover on it also to protect it. I will be doing business in the future when I save up some more.

sounds good i get6 to go home in a week and i am going to put all my interior in.
I have dealt with Jim plenty of times for numerous parts and things. I have nothing but good things to say about him and his business, and will continue to do business with him in the future.
Just so you know.Thats exactly what she(thecovergirl) has been saying to me for a year now.Birdsandbowties, i have no issue with that part of the franchise.
I was under the impression that she was legit, but if you send her money. She WILL NOT DELIVER YOUR PRODUCT & ONLY GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND.I made the mistake of giving her $700 for seat cover. This was back on 6-8-09,yep over a year ago.Initially she told gave me a delivery date of OCT.Well oct came & went. Then she moved it up to nov/dec.Thats also came & went.So i contact her & she informs she is too sick to work! but still tells me she be able to start work on my cover in a couple weeks.I give her the benefit of the doubt & wait 2+, almost 3 weeks.Still nothing. This goes on for a while. Then shes in the hospital for surgery, after that she had to move.So no seat covers. After a year i gave up & decided a wanted my money back. She says, fine.I can give you $100 a week.Thats was 4 weeks ago & i have only one payment given so far.So im out $600.Dont make this mistake.Take your money & business to hawks or classic.Anywhere but her.I also have all the correspondense from one year back to "now your not getting anything"!
She claims to have chroans disease!
She claims her husband has high blood pressure!!
She claims to be too sick to work!!!
They are trying to sell their business(B&B)!!!!
Avoid them both.Anyone who buys the b&b also buys their problems!!!!!
I've never dealt with the covergirl, but I do know Jim was trying to sell birds and bowties, I asked him why and he replied that he was having health problems. he also replied that he didn't think he'd ever end up selling it because he didn't want someone to buy it and stop providing Fbody parts because many people in the area rely on him for parts, every time I've done business with him, I've had no issues, as for the covergirl, I can't say anything, I've never met her or done business with her.
It appears that Birdsandbowties.com no longer exists, the address now comes up as Milton Overhead door.
Is this correct? And does anyone know what happened to jim and all his 3rd gen parts?
I bought a shifter plate from him awhile back and he was very pleasant to deal with.
