Thank you Third Gen Ranch

Wanted to tell Third Gen Ranch thanks for the parts I bought last weekend. Denny was willing to work with me on a time to pick up the parts after I got called out of town last week. He also gave me a realistic expectation verbally of the parts I wanted to buy from him over the phone.

I'll definitely buy from him again. Nice guy and made me a good deal on everything!

Thanks again Denny!

Is their web site still up? I tried taking a look, but it brings me to a no domain site.

The site seems to be working fine for us and we've had about our normal amount of visitors for the day so the problem isn't affecting everybody. However, we've had a few people having problems getting on so we are working with our provider to get it taken care of.

Denny has been nothing but the best of help to me. He also has answered my emails in great timing. Here's another *plus one* for Third Gen Ranch.

Re: Thank you Third Gen Ranch

How were the shipping/handling charges? Excessive like some of the other vendors or reasonable?

Re: Thank you Third Gen Ranch

shipping/handling are reasonable. my tops that i bought were around 20lbs and it cost me 25 bucks to have them shipped to MO. Oh yeah, and the glass ttops were packed nice and tight with paper shreds.

I barely got a hold of them last week and it seems like their prives are really good. Quick answer to emails too. Looking forward to buy some Parts from them.

Also, somebody asked about shipping prices. Our site is tied to the UPS shipping calculator so the shipping prices quoted on our site come directly from UPS. Nearly all of the items on our site have approximate weights entered for them and the UPS shipping calculator gives prices based on the size/weight of the package.

Just wondering if y'all have more parts than what I see on the site. I didn't know if I was missing something. Do I have to register to see all the parts?

The majority of what we have is available on the site and we add new parts all the time. However, we have many parts that aren't listed. If there's something you're looking for and don't see it on our site, e-mail or PM us and we may be able to help.

It's funny actually, because the economy sucks right now, you'd think businesses would be happy to answer your questions. It seems like I've run across a dozen or so companies that don't want to take my cash. Hmm?, maybe someone else wants my money? Hint, hint!

Re: Thank you Third Gen Ranch

Wow, I've bought almost $1,000 in parts from them in the last few months and had no issues. I even got a few items free when I asked if they would throw them in... I would not always trust emails unless you get a confirm receipt - many go into junk and never get seen. I'd call Denny if no response after a few days.

I needed stuff not on the website and I got hooked up with really nice parts, all as described and shipped within a few days. one of my packages got lost by the carrier and they tracked it down, got it returned and then sent to me and replaced anything that was missing - box looked like it got dropped off the truck at 100mph.

I asked about wheels, centercaps, hood, and radiator for my firebird and never heard anything from them. I guess they don't need money.
