Best Repair Shop Near MD. (electrical issue)

hey guys, i am not sure if this is the right spot to ask this question. but i figure a vendor and shop is closely related. i am in need of a good shop closeto Maryland that can handle a eletrical issue i have with my car, (after motor swap). i am on the verge of sending the car to S.C. to hawks. so i decided to ask you all to see if you have anyone relatively close that you recommend.

what is the issue you are having. I know a few shops some are abit closer than others.

BTW I am also in Silver Spring too.

This is the shop I bring my car to. when ever I can't fix it or I am stumped the guys here are great. its a bit of a drive but they will also pick your car up from your house for you. They used to be in rockville.

I will find the links to the other shops id recomend in abit.

Re: Best Repair Shop Near MD. (electrical issue)

I developed a cold start issue after I had a motor swap done. I am thinking of having a cold start delete done now. I don't know the pro's and con's. i put a 87 complete motor in a 89 car. The 87 car was wired for cold start and GM discontinued it in 89. carb cleaner in the intake is the only way it will start when the car is cold. Do you think they can handle in depth electrical troubleshooting?
It can be a simple as a fuel pressure problem, wire problem, or malfunction in the cold start devices

I just had it sent to a auto eletric shop in Clinton md. They had the shortest turn around time and was able to take it ASAP plus it is staying inside.

Your guy seemed real cool but, he was not able to take it for another 2 weeks. By the way he got a sweet firebird GTA, digital dash and 400hp rebuilt I believe was a 383 for sale
He is asking 3500 for it all

But any way thanks for your hook up!!!
