If he thinks that there is no way you will receive a refund from him he's dead wrong. PayPal will go into the account the funds were transferred into and take it right back out. If there aren't funds in the account then it will overdraft the account and if he tried to close the account then it will open it back up and overdraft it. After all is said and done he will owe the bank all the fees and possibly more.

The reason i know is that I purchased a laptop a few years back and when i received it it was not even close to what was described in the listing. I purchased a one year old almost new in box Toshiba and received a five year old HP with cigarette burns and 90% of the case screws missing. I had a dispute filed the next day, the laptop returned and in her possession within a week, and funds back in my account within two weeks.

According to the PayPal rep they presented the refund to her bank, Wells Fargo, but she had closed the account the day after my money went in. Wells Fargo opened the account back up and issued a refund to PayPal. At the time I also banked with Wells Fargo so I'm guessing they charged her $375 for the refund to me, $33 for the overdraft fee, and then $5 for every day that the account is overdrawn. She apparently thought by closing the account that there would be no way for me to get a refund but she was so so wrong lol!

Either he lied to UPS at the door and told them it wasn't his package, or he did give Ebay a false address. Now the package will be returned to Ebay in San Jose, CA. What a con man.

Reminds me of a guy named Glenn who people on the NastyZ28 site are always updating members about-he resides somewhere in Bowdon, GA and makes a living ripping off people by selling used junk as NOS and he is moving more towards 3rd gen and 78-88 Gbody parts as of late. He's been banned from NastyZ several times but tries popping up as a new member every so often. Admin. has to ban his IP address every time....crazy.

Had a kid sell me a bad hard drive on Ebay once that had the click of death the moment I powered it up. I stayed after him. He ended saying I was harassing him and I needed to back off because his GF just broke up with him . LoL Whatever, poor baby. Ebay took care of it. Mostly positive on Ebay but there has been a few bad transactions. The ones I like are the ones that send you a bad product and then expect you to PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING just cause their ad stated that. Your mistake your problem, my mistake my problem.........PERIOD.

Apparently, he thinks the converter is being returned to me and he 'won' because UPS didn't deliver it to him. So he sent me this trying to gloat. But the converter is being returned directly to Ebay - my return address was not on the label Ebay provided me, there's was. I assume that when they receive the package and see that the seller provided a fake address (plus I added his comments as such to the case file), my money will be refunded.

I also reported him to Customer Support for the harassing emails he's sent me. I don't even see how he hasn't been banned yet... unless they have to wait for this open case to close before they can do that.

I just got off the phone with Ebay. They are closing the case and issuing my refund immediately... and I brought their attention to his emails admitting the false return address, the scam item he sent me, and his very vulgar personal attacks.

They assured me they'd look into it in detail and take any necessary actions... we'll see.
