Ive heard the hsr changed and added some more metal to the intake ports for 1206 matching. i just got mine in the mail and it was cast in jun 2005!! i want to make sure this is the updated version. anyone know?
is the casting number on the bottom of the manifold? i see 10/16/02 on mine, i didnt think they made the stealth ram that long ago. mine is sealed up tho when alot of them i have heard didnt seal up
Can't help you with when they changed it, but yes, they did make them back in 02. That's when the one in the top of this pic was made, the bottom one was made in 07.
i'd just be worried about warping the face of the intake manifold. i'd definately would like to have a 406 + inch HSR motor with 215+ cc heads. i'd need material welded on
Yeah I know what you mean. I had my planed after the extra material was welded on, just to insure that it would still seal properly. Didnt have much taken off, and the gasket was thick enough to offset it..

I have a 406 with welded HSR intake runners running ported AFR 210s,,, no problem
